Candidates build one strong profile, and companies come to them — making hiring faster, fairer, and more efficient. We're a small, ambitious team of three founders, and we're just getting started.

About the Role As our Startup Sales Executive, you'll own revenue from day one. You'll build our sales engine from the ground up: prospecting, demoing, and closing deals with companies that are actively hiring. This is a high-risk, high-reward opportunity for a self-motivated closer who wants real ownership and significant upside at an early-stage startup.

What You'll Do - Own the full sales cycle: from cold outreach and discovery calls to demos, negotiation, and close - Generate your own pipeline through targeted outbound efforts (email, LinkedIn, and phone) - Build and manage a healthy, well-qualified pipeline with consistent velocity - Hit aggressive monthly and quarterly revenue targets as our first revenue-generating hire - Deliver compelling product demonstrations that connect IdealFit.ai's value to each buyer's specific hiring challenges - Feed insights back to the founders to sharpen the product roadmap and go-to-market approach - Help write the sales playbook, defining repeatable processes that will scale as the team grows

What We're Looking For - 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in SaaS, marketplace, or HR tech - Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding sales targets - Strong hunter mentality, comfortable owning cold outreach and driving deals through a full sales cycle without a support structure - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to run compelling demos independently - Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving, early-stage environments - Genuine interest in talent, recruiting, or HR technology

Nice to Have - Experience selling to HR, Talent Acquisition, or Recruiting teams - Familiarity with AI tools or marketplace platforms - Previous startup experience

Compensation This is a commission-only role with equity participation. It's designed for someone who wants to bet on themselves and earn significant upside tied directly to the revenue they generate.
